Woodman Point at Coogee in Western Australia
Description:  Behind the beach is an area of low growing coastal heath. In late summer March flies are occasionally on the beach so some insect repellent can be a good idea. The road and car park are paved, with trees for shade and plenty of space. The textile-only facilities of the John Graham Park includes toilets, showers, a children's playground, free gas BBQs, seats with shade trees and on weekends and public holidays a fast-food caravan. The beach is not legally approved so common sense is required. Bathing is best between November and April with temperatures from 20 to 40oC. Midday sea breezes do not usually blow the sand around, but the mornings are usually the best.
Directions:  Woodman Point is 8km south of Fremantle, shelving gently and has small waves. The sand has plenty of shells and the water is clear and clean with a sandy bottom. The clothing optional section is 200m long, stretching from 350m south of jetty to a few hundred metres from the sailing club at the point.
